    Application of the monocoque body technology

    The technology originates from the integrated frame structure technology of aircraft industry visually nicknamed as ‘birdcage structure’. When the vehicle is under stress, the structure can rapidly decompose the force into the whole vehicle and the distortion-resistant strength is 3-6 times of common bus at the same time.

    Rollover CAE analysis and experiments

    The rollover simulation is conducted by making use of finite element analysis technology workstation and the simulation results meet the regulatory requirements of ECE R66. At the same time, Sunlong will carry out the real car rollover test in the experimental field with regard to the full series of models and the experimental results are in accordance with the requirements of EU regulations, thus ensuring that the occupants have enough safety space.

    Applications of active safety system

    The full series of models are loaded with the active safety systems including forward collision warning (FCW), pedestrians collision warning (PCW), lane departure warning (LDW), Headway monitoring & Warning (HMW) and intelligent high beam control (IHC) , so as to greatly improve the capabilities of vehicles in taking the initiative to avoid traffic accidents.

    Monocoque body frame

    The monocoque body frame design may make the stress of frame structure optimal and reduce the vehicle weight by saving the materials.

    New materials and new technology

    The application of such new materials as aluminum alloy, stainless steel and high-strength steel and carbon fiber may also lower fuel consumption while realizing the body lightweight.

    Analysis and experiments of dynamic performance and economical efficiency

    At the beginning of the design, the fuel consumption analysis data can be obtained according to the conditions of actual operation simulated in computer by analyzing the dynamic performance and economical efficiency of work station. Simultaneously, after the prototype is completed, it can be matched with the optimal solutions of power performance and fuel economy by actually measuring fuel consumption under the comprehensive road conditions of the experimental field and combining the theories with the experimental data.

    Thermal balance test

    Through the thermal balance drum test, the design layout including engine intake system and exhaust system can be optimized to the greatest extent, further reducing the internal resistance of the pipelines, improving the performance of engine and lowering the energy consumption of complete vehicle. 

    Modeling optimization

    Optimize modeling design, produce the scale models for all models, conduct the wind tunnel test, reduce the wind-resistance coefficient and lower the fuel consumption. 

    Environmental protection

    Environmental protection of interior materials

    The environmentally-friendly products are adopted as body interior and adhesive materials, which can achieve the domestic and EU environmental protection standards, so that the environment inside the bus can become more comfortable and environmentally friendly.

    High emission standards

    The full series of models may be loaded with the power assembly complying with VI emission standards and EPA2017 so that the exhaust emissions are in line with the requirements of EU regulations, greatly reducing harmful substances and carbon emissions.

    Application of new energy vehicles

    The full series of models may be loaded with hybrid power, pure power-driven and hydrogen fuel battery power systems. The hybrid power system composed of hybrid power engine with high-emission standard plus pure power-driven motor can further reduce energy consumption and carbon emission by recycling the braking energy through electric motor. The bus with pure power-driven and hydrogen fuel batterymay achieve zero emission and realize more energy conservation and environmental protection. The application of new energy technology not only radically solves the problems of carbon emissions and oil energy dependencebut also brings a blue sky to the society.


    Soundproof and noise-reducing technology

    With the electronically-controlled air suspension system, Sunlong soundproof control patent and low-noise tires, the high torque low speed engine can make its noise lower so that the noise inside the bus can reach the EU standards.

    NVH mute technology

    At the beginning of research and development, simulation and analysis of work station via NVH mute technology, optimization and control of complete vehicle vibration and noise can ensure that all data involving vehicle noise and vibration meet the requirements of EU regulations while the actual bus test is conducted at the NVH laboratory.
