Yongning District CPPCC visited member enterprises to help Guangxi SUNLONG reach a new level

On the morning of April 26, Chen Qiang, Chairman of the Yongning District CPPCC, and his delegation visited the member enterprise Guangxi SUNLONG Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. to investigate the production and operation of the member enterprise.

At the symposium, Zhou Jiwen, member of the CPPCC of Yongning District and chairman and president of Guangxi SUNLONG, said that the global COVID-19 affected travel and led to a sharp decline in orders, and the Russian Ukrainian war affected the supply of upstream raw materials and led to a surge in battery prices. Against this backdrop, as the only traditional energy bus in Guangxi Guangxi SUNLONG, a manufacturer of new energy passenger cars (including hydrogen fuel cell passenger cars) and new energy trucks with three types of commercial vehicle qualifications, will focus on new energy trucks and overseas markets in 2022 to hedge the risk pressure brought by the external environment.

Chen Qiangqiang pointed out that Guangxi SUNLONG, as the leading enterprise in Nanning, is the "bull nose" of Yongning District to grasp the development of new energy vehicles. The CPPCC of Yongning District will give full play to its role in the private economy, provide suggestions for the development of Guangxi SUNLONG, further promote the high-quality development of Guangxi SUNLONG, and help Guangxi SUNLONG to step up a new level in the field of new energy vehicles.

Chen Qiang said that through this visit and investigation, the understanding between Guangxi SUNLONG and the CPPCC in the urban area has been strengthened. He hoped that the two sides would continue to strengthen communication. The CPPCC in the urban area would continue to pay attention to and support the development of Guangxi SUNLONG, and hoped that Zhou Jiwen would give full play to his role, actively perform his duties and make greater contributions to promoting the economic and social development of the urban area.
