Strengthening the quality defense line and empowering technological innovation - Shanghai Sunlong successfully held FMEA special training

In order to further enhance the professional competence of employees and strengthen the risk prevention and control capabilities of the company's technical team, Shanghai Sunlong has recently launched a three-day FMEA special training. This training brought together the backbone of the three core departments of Automotive Research Institute, Procurement and Logistics Department, and Quality Control Department. Senior lecturer Hu Lichang from Shanghai Hexin Training Center was specially invited to give a lecture, jointly focusing on the core theme of "Design Potential Failure Modes and Risk Analysis+Control Plan" for in-depth learning and discussion.

The purpose of this training is to break down departmental barriers and help employees establish rigorous engineering thinking through systematic theoretical learning and practical exercises. On the first day of the training, the instructor brought a wonderful knowledge feast to the students with their profound theoretical foundation and rich industry practical experience. The course closely follows the theme of "Design Potential Failure Modes and Risk Analysis+Control Plan", starting from the basic concepts and core logic of FMEA, and analyzes how to identify potential failure modes in the early stage of product design, and scientifically evaluate their severity, frequency, and detection. The lecturer emphasized that FMEA is not just a technical document, but also a thinking tool for cross departmental collaborative problem-solving. It requires close collaboration among R&D, procurement, and quality control teams to jointly develop and implement efficient control plans, thereby eliminating quality hazards in their infancy.

In class, the atmosphere is lively and focused. Technicians from the Automotive Research Institute engaged in in-depth interaction with the lecturer, taking into account the actual pain points encountered in the development of past vehicle models; Representatives from the procurement logistics department and quality control department discussed how to effectively translate FMEA analysis results into specific control measures from the perspectives of supply chain management and quality inspection. Through case analysis and group discussions, the trainees not only mastered the standard operating procedures of FMEA, but also gained a deeper understanding of its enormous value in improving product reliability and reducing after-sales costs.
